The Management and employees of LGK MARINE IKE have recognized the need to actively contribute to the protection of the environment the planet's natural resources. In order for this effort to be done in a systematic and controlled manner, an Environmental Management System has been developed and implemented in accordance with the requirements of the ELOT EN ISO 14001:2015 standard.

With the development of the Environmental Management System, environmental aspects related to the company's activities and operations are identified and evaluated.

In this Environmental Policy, the Management is committed to the continuous improvement of the company's environmental performance, the compliance with the applicable legal requirements related to the environment and the prevention of environmental pollution. 

The important environmental aspects for which measurable targets have been set and all necessary measures are taken to achieve them concern electricity, hazardous waste, gaseous pollutants and noise. The remaining environmental aspects are managed, adopting appropriate measures to protect the environment and save resources.   

The company's Management has appointed a Representative who has clear authority to identify deviations of the Environmental Management System, introduce, recommend or offer solutions and confirm the implementation of these solutions.

For the implementation of this Environmental Policy, the active participation of employees, who contribute to the effective implementation of the Environmental Management System and its improvement, is considered necessary.
